i'm having this issue since more than a week now. this is the first time i encounter such problem. i have changed different mikrotik box, but still it is the same.

i have 2 x 1 mbips line of pppoe connection from the same isp both of them keeps going down randomly. the last time it shows unique behavior check this out.
ss1.PNG
do notice that the 02-266 eth interface is connected to the modem of speedy266. the status is down at that moment. but the eth interface showing activities. and its sometimes reached 1024 + kbips. so i try to torch the eth interface (shown at the picture above and its been running for 2 minutes more), most of the time its empty except for discovery connection. but the interface is showing traffic.

does anyone know what probably the cause so i can try fixing it? might it be the modem? if so, i have also swith between modems.

one more thing if the dial is done from pc straight without mikrotik, it can go straight connected.

iugh nobody here to help? hiks.

anyway, i keep wondering where is that traffic come from? is it my modem broke? sometimes, when it connected, i monitored the traffic from the modem to local, lets say, the pppoe interface shown a 200 kbips, while the eth interface that connected to the modem shown a 1072 kbips traffic. what the hell???
