Reflash nand on rb532a

Ok got an old 532 that has been sitting and figured I would take another stab at fixing it. The ether1/POE port is dead so netinstall is a no go unless I can load the ethernet image it transfers to CF and boot it that way. It was working and running Mikrotik but in an attempt to get ether1 working thinking something was corrupt maybe since lights would light up on the port, I did a format nand in the bios and planned on reloading it through the serial cable not quite for sure why I thought you could do it that way. Could you reflash with serial at one point many moons ago? Well after that it got put in a drawer because at the time I was told multiple times you cant boot from CF even though the manual said you could. So now that its booting from cf and I have been able to write linux to the nand and boot from it without the cf inserted is there any way I can get mikrotik back? Can I take kernel from rb133 board and replace linux kernel on my nand, and take rootfs from rb133 and replace contents of the linux rootfs? Is there any better/easier way?

Thanks
Jason
