Is it possible to make a small gigabit routerboard with this interface? now we can buy only RB800 and that is very expensive.

A cheap RB with mini pcie will only be useful if it has a high end CPU in it, like the RB800. Any thing less and you not be able to push close to the theoretical limit of 450mb/s connections. Even without fw, bridge, routing the wifi part will just eat the cpu. So unless there is a clever offload for wifi or the CPU is so cheap that it can be placed in a cheap product I can't really see the point.

yeah, you want to run 200mbps on cheap RB with miniPCiE? lol......if you want more than 100mbps, just buy normal HW!

CPUs are faster and cheaper every day, so I guess it shouldnt be a problem to find cpu that is strong enough to handle one wireless card properly.
On the other hand in our conditions it is not possible to use 40MHz channel, so maximum speed will be in the future with 4x4 mimo 20MHz almost the same as now in 2x2 40MHz.

I wonder if miniPCI - miniPCIe adapter would work with routerboard:

They haven't that i was searching for: a minipci male to minipci female cable (extender) to fit high power minipci cards properly cooled in better place.
