hi @all

one of my mikrotik have a strange issue. when i connect my mikrotik directly into my laptop it appears in winbox and i can able to ping this mikrotik also but when i plugged the mikrotik in a switch and connect my laptop to the switch then neither it appears in Winbox nor i can ping it..

this problem is very strange and i have change every thing like POE adapter, patch cord etc, only the cat5 from POE to mikrotik is not changed because this mikrotik is hooked at 100 feet on my tower. if i don't find it working i will gonna change the Cat5 also but will replacing the cat5 will solve the prob.?

definitely the cat 5 jack ,try after re crimping. i hav also this issue,cleared by recrimping
