493G lockup after reboot

I have 493G (ROS 4.17 NAT+PPPoE+SQ).

Board is running fine for many days, but when I try to reboot it remotely it hangs. Looks like bootloader isnt finishing loading system. If I disconnect power supply and then connect back - RB is up and running fine (until next reboot).

Any solution for this?

Nothing, it's just for NAT,QoS and PPPoE.

Power is connected via ethernet port (PoE) 24V.

Yeah.

I would like to thank MT team for not supporting and not showing any real interest in my problem.

Really guys thanks a lot. Will think twice when next time buying new hardware from You.

I had the same problem.
Make sure you run the latest FW for this board, IIRC 2.39.
At least this fixed the reboot problem for all my RB493G's.

At the terminal prompt, type
/ system routerboard print
If the version next to "upgrade-firmware" is different from "current-firmware", then type the following to update it:
/ system routerboard upgrade
When prompted, press "y" to confirm, then reboot the routerboard at your convenience.
/ system reboot
I hope this helps!

^^ had same issues about a year ago. You NEED to upgrade the latest firmware AND bios (routerboard). The BIOS upgrade fixes.
