If you watch the presentation, you will see that it will be ready to ship at the end of this summer (approximately).
dittoWhat will be the price point for this?
+1Hello Normis,

Now is the ending of April.....
Only 2011LS was promised at the end of March.
Other models were promised in april in following order:
2011LS-IN
2011L-RM
2011US-2HnD
2011US-IN
2011US(2HnD-IN)
OK, but what to do if I need to run hotspot with huge number of advertisement pageswith enough NAND to be able to run RouterOS
You can already do that. Enter "\usb1\somename" or "\microsd\somename" after hotspot has been configured, and USB drive formated from the Store menu.@normisOK, but what to do if I need to run hotspot with huge number of advertisement pageswith enough NAND to be able to run RouterOS
and don't want to set external web server for that pages only?
Even RB1100AHx2 with license Level 6 (unlimited number of hotspot users) is unable to store these pages:
http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=60116
If MikroTik reduces NAND size on every new RouterBoard, there is a need for option
to store hotspot files on external storage, like Micro-SD card (feature request ).
I don't want to run RouterOS-based HotSpot on X86 platform because it is not
cost and energy efficient solution.
Regards,
If I understood you correctly, advertisement page must be set in this way?Enter "\usb1\somename" or "\microsd\somename"
add advertise-url=\microsd\somename\blahblah.html
It means that for advertisement pages external Web server is a must.URL has always meant an external page.
