Hi, I got a short question regarding usage of PCQ (with maxmimum DS/US)

I want to give each user on my network a maxmimum of 1,5mbit DS/US, and for that I am using Simple Qeues with two PCQes with a rate of 1500k under "Queue Type".
I have read a few topics on the board and the wiki, but am not able to get a clear answer:Some say that in order to use PCQ properly I need to specify the total DS/US bw. Do I? An if so, where do I set it? At the queue under Simple Queue->General->Max Limit?

Add the queue under Queue Type one for up and one for down.

Then when you create the simple queue on the advanced TAB select your PCQ queue under the queue type drop box.

In the simple queue the max rate is the cap for the total connection. U

Example Simple Queue Maxrate 1M PCQ max 512
2 users connect both at 512
4 users connect all at 256

This becomes useful when you have a 20M pipe and offer up to 4M service to 10 users. At 5 users they all get the max as more users start to pull the avalible bandwidth is divided out evenly.
