Mesh + Hotspot

Hello,

I'm a newbie for these kind of things so forgive me if I say something stupid ;)

I want to setup an outdoor wireless network over a coverage area of roughly 700x150m. Internet connection will be ADSL or satellite. I guess doesn't matter for setup, right?

I guess for such coverage I need 2 or 3 access points. There will be no wiring among AP's, they should coomunicate via wireless. For each AP I plan to use Groove A-2Hn or A-5Hn plus one antenna for each (ACSWI or ACSWIM). Will that be sufficient to setup such a network?

Regardless of which AP a device comminicates, I want it see the same network in wireless settings and can roam among AP's. I guess Mesh topology is a way for it, are there another?

There will be 2 kinds of clients: regulars and guests. Regulars will connect unconditionally but guests will be redirected to hotspot server if required. I prefer there should be 2 networks, one is secured with password and other is hotspot. Is it possible each AP serves for 2 networks? Or should I make this guest-regular distinction based on mac addresses of devices? Are there any other way?

For hotspot's login page, I guess I should either redirect to an external (on internet) page or maintain a web server on local network, right? Will it be a problem if I use a local server and make it connect via wi-fi? (For such redirect web server should have a static IP) Remember this will be an outdoor system so local server should be kept safe in some place. What else option do I have?

Thanks in advance,
r a f t

No one has an idea?

Indeed I wish to hire a consultant but there is none in my area.

Hi, I'm a newbie too. I'm trying to setup something similar with your plan.
