Hi all,

I'm looking for a solution with a Mikrotik router to provide internet acces either Free or paid (PayPal, Cash, Prepaid card) across several independent sites.

Which linux / windows application is ok in price and can
Add / edit / delete users
Create prepaid cards (either myself or the customer)
Controll bandwidth
Show online users per site
Send invoices to the sites where users bought internet
...

i would need to be able to tell on a shared revenue model how much the hotel, coffee shop receives and how much I receive...

Which options do you use to perform your authentications?

Cheers,
Chris

You are basically looking for a turnkey solution that already has all this built out for you. A lot of what you want is out there and is possible, but requires you to build your own back end system and integrate it all together to get it all in one place. There are a few solutions out there though that do what you want. We use this service, and it sounds as if it will meet all of your needs.

You can generate access codes or username/password combinations that are not active until they are fist used and last for a predetermined amount of time. (Pre-paid cards basically)
Allow guests to purchase access with a credit card.
Setup bandwidth profiles for free access, purchased access, or any other kind of access based off of profiles and it will automatically sent a receipt to the guest upon purchasing access via e-mail.
Setup different level of access for staff or admin users that can generate codes, delete codes, etc.
Get daily stats for how many accepts/rejects/unique users were on a particular hotspot, as well as revenue reporting for purchased access.
