Is it worth to buy - HP NC364T PCI Express Quad

Sun Jun 03, 2012 11:03 pm

I have a question. Does anybody have experience with this equipment in conjunction with x86 and ros?
Is it worth to buy this card? will there be problems with compatibility?

Well, I have seen Mktik hardware to be "bad" compatible with some ZTE modems an ISP supllies. Sometimes it work, sometimes not.

ZTE modem - Omnitik - Ubiquity AP's etc...

that was definitely a hardware problem. After putting a "simple" HP Procurve 408 (non managed switch) between Mktik and ZTE modem, all problems disappeared.

So there "can" be a incompability. Just to make sure, is to test it. I know that the Procurve series of HP works fine, abut this is an internal card.

Another advice with servers / desktop computers: Make sure that the computer / server is connected to a grounded outlet, and that ground really exists in the electrical distribution board.
