My RB751 is running on the latest version 5.17.
The problem is very weird, I made a reset on my modem to be sure it's not a static adresse in it, btu the problem still persist !

My RB is working as a PPPoE client to dial a DSL connection.
Everything works but everyday at any time an adresse 192.168.1.64/24 adds itself to the ETH1-WAN ports and create itself a route to 0.0.0.0.
THat screws my internet so I have to log in and erease it manualy!

My home adresse are in 192.168.100.0/24, I have NO idea where that 192.168.1.64 come from and why on the WAN port !??!

Is there anyway I can prevend it, and anyone knows what is happening ?

Thank you very much
Martin L.

first off, and this is probably a very stupid question, but have you made sure it isn't an outside person doing this.

Have you setup your firewall, access lists and other secure things that my brain can't think of right now

One thing i would suggest is limiting access to your Mtik router to within your local network and just use a vpn to get in behind it

Probably you have DHCP Client running on ETH1-WAN, it's default on RB751.
Your ADSL modem also has DHCP Server running, so mentioned IP address is assigned automatically.
Based on IP address (192.168.1.64/24), do you use Thomson SpeedTouch in bridged mode?

HTH,

HTH,
Ho well, I guess my head was somewhere else when I looked at the probleme !!
Of course it's a HDCP client set to the ETH-0 port !!

I probably didn't think of it because I thought my modem was only a modem ... no dhcp server in !!

Well, my bad, I de-activated the dhcp client on that port and I guess the probleme is solve now !!

Thank you very much ditonot !

BTW, It's a Thomson SpeedTouch ;)
