P2P radio chain both end same polarization?

Sun Jul 01, 2012 7:39 pm

I always make sure both ends of a H+V pol. link have same polarization connected to same chain.
i.e. CH0 to H, and CH1 to V. on both ends...
But is this really needed?
I am now in a situation I don't know how the other end is connected. Preparing a new end but don't know which pol should be connected to what chain?

So, does it has any importance at all?
(would save me a trip....)

That makes no sense. The signal emiting from each antenna (H or V), no matter if it comes from the CH0 or the CH1 is the same. That should not make a difference I would think.
