Hi guys and gals!

Is it at all possible to resolve a request for something like 1a.abcd.net to an IP address inside a network? I want to have a wordpress page stored on a computer in my network to be accessible more aesthetically than typing in its ip address. can this be done? Or is the best way forward to have my isp redirect an actual website to my computer and port forward?...I really wouldn't like to have to use the latter...

regards
Tim

I believe you just need an A record on your DSN server for that domain name pointed to whatever IP address you want. It doesn't really matter if it's a private or public IP address.
