User Session time

Thu Aug 02, 2012 4:07 pm

I am currently using UM as our radius controller.
When a client logs on using a 1 hr voucher, their 1 hr starts from the time of first logon.
When they disconnect, usermanager still sees the voucher as active and after 1 hr, the voucher has expired.
Is it possible that a client can purchase a 1 hr voucher, use only 10 minutes and log off. When they return in a few hours, and log on, there will be 50 minutes remaining on their voucher.
Basically, 1 hr voucher can be used for 1 hr usage and not from the time they log on.

Seems like you did not change the idle time out to a lesser figure when u set up the hospot user profile. Go to hotspot user profile and change idle time out to say "2:00 mins" or less.

Respected all,
I am currently using UM as our radius controller.
When a client logs on using a 24 hr voucher, their 24 hr starts from the time of first logon.
When they disconnect, usermanager still sees the voucher as active and after 24hr, the voucher has not expired.
Is it possible that a client can purchase a 1 hr voucher, use only 10 minutes and log off. When they return in a few hours, and log on, there will be 50 minutes remaining on their voucher.
Basically, 1 hr voucher can be used not for 1 hr usage and from the time they log on.

if the customer put computer in sleep mode 2-5min after that voucher is not working . I need to disable the voucher and enable then it will work.
kindly help me....
