Nope. Everything works as expected since RP. Tried on RP x64 Pro and have it working on latest RTM x64 Pro. All versions are genuine.

Genuine install straight from MS. 32bit version though. Don't know if that will make a difference.

The normal uac firewall exception didn't seem to hold for my windows 8. After manually adding the application in on my firewall profiles it work.

Disable the firewall and l check winbox again to see if that's affecting you

Windows 8 x64 RTM - works out of the box. WinBox is not dependant on endless numbers of frameworks and it should run on any Windows box or a Linux/Mac box with Windows app emulation such as wine. Make sure you scan your winbox.exe with Windows Defender or any other antivirus, as it may be infected by something else.

We have it running on all kinds of Windows 8 computers. It could be some program in your PC that causes this, or a problem with windows

but yeah i'm having similar issues. There must be something odd specifically with beta3 as beta2 works.
