10G NIC Problem

Hi Guys,

I have a HP DL120 which is working great. I've had it live for a while now on the internal 1Gbps card.

I recently added an Intel X520 10G NIC with the suggested Intel SFP+. This shows up fine in ROS. I'm connecting the interface to a port on an Extreme X650.

On the Extreme I can not force the 10G to auto negotiate.
Basically the Mikrotik negotiates at 10G, drops, negotiates, drops.

I've tried turning off auto negotiation on the Mikrotik but I can't seem to get it working.

Does anyone have any ideas? - Getting desperate!

Thanks

check if everything is ok with the wire and recheck the cards, generally, if card is visible as an interface you should not have problems to get it working.

I do have a spare card, I'll swap it out.

Fibre cable is brand new, as well as the SFPs
