I would have to say no. Out of every ten one simply falls off on me. Some have even broken during shipment. On the other had the cat 5 connector does seat much better in these then the metal ones.

I have never had any "simply fall off". I have broke one and it was completely my fault. I think recent versions have been switched back to the metal ethernet connector. If you are wanting a board to learn with I would recommend a 951 or 751.

SXT has always metal ethernet ports. New 711 has also metal port (earlier had plastic).
I have not seen yet 411L with metal port but 411(no L) has metal port.

751 and 951 can be an AP or a client. If you got two you could also practice setting up a ptp link between them.

I agree. The 951 would be great for learning and the price is great.

I can see this include a 802.11 b,g,n wifi, this is 1*1 MIMO 150 Mbit/sec ?and the setup is same as for example on Routerboard AP?

Yes, setup is exactly the same on all routerboards (even the 5Ghz ones)
RB951 has 1T1R MIMO (1x1), and 751 has 2T2R (2x2)

I had two 711 Ethernet ports in a row snap out and bend back while I was 90ft up on a tower. NOT HAPPY. I got one to snap back in, after opening the panel on the ground. Luckily I had a spare weather tight Ethernet pigtail to prevent this from happening again.
These 711's I ordered were in an arc panel assembled by titan wireless.
