Routerboard 500 Client can't connect to hidden SSID

I have a relatively simple Wireless network with one main RouterBoard (running RouterOS 2.9.11).
Several clients with different hardware connect to this network successfully. I have installed a second RouterBoard (RouterOS 2.9.
that also connects to the same network.
When I configure the network to hide SSID, all clients except the RouterBoard client can connect. As soon as the SSID broadcasts again, it connects successfully. I have this problem only with this client...
Any logical explanation for this?

if this is a prism card in there, this should answer your question:

Ok, so it's a documented bug, but it's still a bug. When will it be fixed?

Weird...
I have Prism cards indeed. A similar problem with these cards is that they do not support WEP / WPA... Caused me lots and lots of frustration. Even the cheapest cards in the market does support security and connect to hidden SSID's!!
Any further details if the problems are related to the card or the RouterOS software? Easy to document that it doesn't work with Prism cards, but it should really be resolved asap...

Strange that it DID work in version 2.8.28 though...I would really like to know when this will be fixed in version 2.9

Is there any work around. I just replaced 3 damaged tranzeo ap's with a 3 prism rb only to discover I either have to climb the tower and replace the cards or visit 35 houses to change their settings.
I dont even want to hide SSID, I just want the WEP to work with the Tranzeo clients.
