My wireless network was running smooth when I had two APS that were backhauled together, and then also redistributing WiFi to my customers until I Added a NanoM2 in place to remove the APs from dual mode backhaul and servicing customers. Below is my network setup and the issues I am seeing, what do you think could be the issue? NanoStation is in Station mode.

Here is my network setup:

DSL modem connected to the ETH1 on Mikrotik RB450G. ETH2 connected to an Access Point (AP1) that I use to provide hotspot WiFi connectivity to. I have hotspot setup, and radius is pointing to my personal authentication and billing server.

From AP1 across the campground I have a Ubiquiti NanoStation M2 connected and the UBNT connected to AP2 for hotspot WiFi connectivity to my customers. Since adding the UBNT in the mix for the AP2 keeps redirecting users to the captive portal page, even if I add the UBNT to IP Binding in the HotSpots and set to Bypass.

What do you think is going on? Thanks for your help.

I believe ou have to set the address pool to "none" in the hotspot server. If you don't the captive portal causes havoc with the static addresses you assign which are not hot spotted.

Leave the DHCP server using a pool alone, but turn the hotspot server address-pool=none

/ip hotspot set 0 adrress-pool=none

by following your instructions, will my hotspot users still get DHCP addresses? And I dont fully understand the DHCP causing this. EVerything was working until I included a CPE to act as a receive, and the AP to act as a network extender. Of course this was AP2 which is across the campground. the AP at that is directly attached to the RB450G works fine, no-one is complaining about the issues from there.

Thanks for your help and further clarification would be appreciative.
