There is no actual "save button" as far as I am aware. We had similar problems intermittently, where some stuff would revert to a previous version after a Dude server reboot. I worked out that shutting The Dude service down before rebooting the PC fixed the issue. That is - until the database got corrupted (apparently) and then there was no way to save any changes at all.
I'd try shutting down The Dude before the PC reboots. You could also export the config once you have the maps set up the way you want them. Then import the config after the PC reboots.
