Hi,
I recently bought the RouterBoard RB411 and plan to use it with XR9.At first turn on,the B411 is working well(power LED lights up). After the second beep sound the ethernet(RJ45) is disconnected. Was it because of the card not compatible or got some power issue?

One more thing, what is actually the default ip address for accessing the RB411 card?can it be define by just connecting the RJ45 cable on PC or need DB9 connection?

Thanks...

Attached is the XR9 datasheet

Download winbox (If you haven't already) and hook in via the ethernet cord using the MAC address of the router. Winbox will find it wherever its at though if it is similar to my own experiences in the least it will be 192.168.88.1.

Make sure your ethernet adapter on your PC is on the same subnet (ie. 192.168.88.2).

The XR9 is on Mikrotiks list of tested devices that are known to work though I don't believe that they used an RB411.
