RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN and Airplay Stability

Tue Jan 01, 2013 12:37 am

ok, I am looking to upgrade a router that does not work well with Airplay. Some tech users from another forum suggested I check out the RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN for a rock solid Wireless router so here I am. Before I make the purchase at a local vendor, I was wondering if anyone has feedback on extended Airplay use with the RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN? Noticed another user report that an AP crashed with mirroring from an ipad.

Does anyone have feedback on RB2011UAS-2HnD-IN and Airplay?

I guess that Airplay is the same as any other traffic. What was the problem with your previous router? You had a lot of video pausing, or what? If yes, it means the speed of the connection was not good.

Yes, RB2011 is a very good, semi-pro grade device. To unlock it's full potential, It has some learning curve, but can be used without any knowledge right out of the box (with default config) .

Configured as an AP I watched many hours of you tube videos streamed from my iPad to an appletv without any issue.
