vrrp question

We are looking to setup a vrrp for our core router. I've read the wiki manual and would just like some clarification. according to the manual:
On Owner router Virtual IP must be the same as real IP. For example on Owner router real IP and virtual IP is 192.168.1.1
but the note below it says:
It is not recommended to set up Mikrotik router as an Owner router. VRRP address and real IP address should not be the same.
both the routers are mikrotik, one is a 1100ahx2 and the other an x86 both with 5.22. Is it not advisable to use both as mikrotik? I understand both routers need an IP address on the same subnet, but is best to assign the preferred master the actual ip address? any insite would appreciated.
