The online documentation for HotSpot User AAA does not exist.... can't get to the page. The currently linked dictionary from the RADIUS client doc page is Version $Id: dictionary,v 1.7 2004/11/24 12:54:51 and doesn't seem to list everything the MT ROS 2.9 supports (even thought the text says these are the ONLY attributes supported by MT). Case in point.....

If you want to send a reply back to the HotSpot Login servlet... simply set the attribute "Reply-Message" value to the desired text. This works, even though this attribute is NOT listed in the dictionary page..... it is listed in dictionary.rfc2865.

So.... the MT dictionary page is misleading in that it says it supports RFC 2865, then lists only a few of the 2865 attributes and goes on to say that ..."no other attributes are supported by MikroTik RouterOS".

Can someone point me to the latest and greatest list of MT supported Radius attributes..?? I just don't want to spend hours testing for the existance of each desired attribute.

At this moment, I am trying to use RADIUS to set the Advertise-URL and Advertise-Interval attributes. Should that not be possible, I would like to set a particular user, or group, to a user profile that would then have the proper advertisement attributes set.

Looking over this forum... there are a lot of very sharp folks. I am certain that someone can help me with this..!!

Yes..... as stated above, those pages are NOT inclusive. As above..... case in point.... Message-Reply is NOT mentioned on this page AND it is not explicitly mentioned on either of the links to MikroTik dictionaries.

Moreover, this page references dictionary pages that are dated circa 2004. Activity in the forum suggests that there are NEW features/(poss. attributes) in later releases of ROS.

Maybe I should ask... is there more up-to-date documentation regarding MT RADIUS attribute support than what is referenced by the above link....???

If not, is there anyone out there that has compiled this information that might be interested in sharing...??

I would like the ability to set "Comment" on a user in Hotspot from the Radius reply message
