Routing/ospf v2.9.13 and v2.9.14 not working!

Mon Feb 27, 2006 6:28 pm

There is a problem with Routing/OSPF in 2.9.13 and in v2.9.14. If you are using older versions, then do not upgrade now, you should wait till v2.9.15 which will contain the fix for the routing.

When will be 2.9.15 available?

Is there a site to download older Mikrotik versions?

All I've ever seen is the current version on the web site. Is there an archive site for times when we need to downgrade?

404 Error, NOT Found

Thu Mar 09, 2006 12:19 am

Argh. Trying to make sure I didn't have a problem with my wireless PRISM2 cards...so upgraded to lastest version last evening 2.9.13 (RB532). Today noticed OSPF routes dropping... restarted interfaces...things worked again...but then down again a few hours later.

Hmm... Found the announcement too late...

Now I can't find previous version for downgrade. :(

http://www.mikrotik.com/download/router ... 2.9.12.npk

Gives 404 (Not Found) error.

This might be part of the same problem

I've also noticed that since I installed 2.9.14 users on the hotspot network that have been bypassed get disconnected from their shares to other computers. Also if there is no activity for a while and then you try and ping the router two of the first 4 replies get dropped, but on subsequent pings, replies are normal. Seems as there is now a timeout even though they have been bypasses. On the shares I was sitting at a computer on the 10.5.50 hotspot network which was was on the IP binding list as bypassed with a network share to the 192.168. network and kept getting the error that I'd lost the share or the disk was full but could reconnect right away. I've been using this setup for months and have never had this problem until the upgrade. Will try downgrading tonight.

What about the RIP protocol? Does anyone have experienced problems with it.

I had one 2.9.12 and two 2.8.26 MTs runing rip among them. However, the 2.9.12 MT started receiving different gateways for an certaing address advertices by one of the 2.8.26 MikroTiks. For example, in one moment 2.9.12 is seing 192.168.1.20 advertised by MT1 (2.8.26) , but the next moment you can see 192.168.1.20 on the other (2.8.26 MT). All the time 192.168.1.20 is a connected address for one of the MTs (2.8.26) which are working as AccessServers.

I upgraded my router from 2.9.12 to 2.9.14 however I continue to experience the same problems :(. Any ideas if it's a problem of the versions?
