Hi All,
I'm planning to set up a public wifi that can cater 100 users. What is the RouterOS/ Board that can manage to handle this?
Thank you in advance!
Regards

Can you give more details? It isn't clear if you are talking about a single AP/location or multiple with backhaul to an ISP-facing router.

Thank you for your reply CelticComms.
I will setup on a building(indoor) approx. 300 x 300 meters perimeter, 2 story. - setup 5 AP's,
and spreading 5MB of bandwidth on first run then upgrading it to 10MB later on.
Regards,

If the total routed traffic is 25-50 Mbps then even the RB2011 routers could handle that. It would probably be better to look at which features you need and what expansion you might envisage. e.g.
Initial ISP connection speed and possible range in future.
Typical client usage and estimate of throughput on each AP now and in future.
Are you very restricted on bandwidth?

rb2011 is probably even overkill. I have a whole hotel on 10mbit fiber connection being fed by an RB450g with shaping and simple queues that doesnt break a sweat.
