loss of connection to ap

Hello,
I have an RB433 that has 2 wireless R52hn cards. One card is used setup for use as an ap bridge at 2GH B/G/N and has hotspot functionality. One this same radio card I have a virtual ap setup with WPA2 security mode. I can connect successfully to the hotspot successfully with all devices but, when I try to connect to the WPA2 ssid with Apple iPhones, the iphone's loss connection. With the testing I have done, on an iPhone I select the correct SSID to connect to, I type in the security passphrase and the device connects. I am able to ping to the default gateway and various websites without any problems but, after about 10 pings the iPhone losses it's connection. It still has an ip address but it can't ping the default gateway, which is the RB433, or past the gateway. I have tried this with various iPhones and I get the same result. I am able to connect and stay connected with windows os laptops, android phones and android tablets. I have not been able to test any apple ipads as of yet. I also removed the VAP and configured it again with the same result. I also replaced the radio card with the same result. If anyone has any ideas of what could be happening, the help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
