I need to know what the max speed I can get out of a rb532 in a ptp link?
And can I get a full duplex link on that board?
Or should I go with a PC with a 1GHz CPU?

OK, after some digging I found a few posts that would suggest that the max thru put is about 30mbps. But I also found a PDF http://www.mikrotik.com/Documentation/wireless_test.pdf that gives a completely different picture.
It looks like I will need a 2GHz or better CPU to get the most out of these new links.
Thanks for the replies :)

I have an overclocked RB532 (330MHz). I have managed to pass from ethernet through to wireless link an average of 38Mbps and a peak of 40Mbps during a bandwidth test session.

An important parameter to watch for is cpu utilisation. Services like OSPF and BGP produce more then 20% of CPU load hence reducing throughput.

Just did a bw test on my latest installation, 3.5km link, about 32dB S/N, cards capped to 24Mb, 5GHz turbo mode, nstreme - dynamic-size
TCP - both ways 12 Mb/s - 100% CPU
TCP - send 19 Mb/s - 100% CPU
TCP - receive 19 Mb/s - 100% CPU

for some strange reason I'm not getting anything on the UDP test..... but I am getting UDP traffic through!

Hope this helps
