Hi, I need to put 4 ap´s in a building os 11 floors, would be 1 each 3 floors. It´s a hotel with 4 rooms in each floor.

Which AP would be good to use ? I want something with good range. They will be used in Bridge mode, the ip´s will be controlled by a RB750GL.

Any TP Link / Linksys would fit ? is there anything beter and more robust ?

cheers

RB711A-2HND + indoor case + two 7dBi or 9dBi. The higher gain will flatten the signal so it doesn't go too far vertically.

the Mikrotik omni antennas will work fine if you are trying to cover more area vertically. Probably turn the 711 TX power down to around 20-25.

Creat!

Just to know, comparing this RB711 with a TPLink / LinkSys, what are the main differences ? only the signal is better ? the administration inside has much more option ? this RB711 has ability to generate reports of the usage ?

cheers

Hello,
I just got an RB 2011UAS-2HnD and want to achieve the following with it.
1. Create a blanket.
2. Restrict download to 30mb/download.
3. Achieve switching on all 10 ports.
4. Access the router over the internet.

Thanks.
