I've got quite some experience with many routers, but I'm newbie to MicroTik routers. At present I experience increadible trouble to get stable communication to it. When I achieve that, my regular internet connection over my other router is no longer accessible with the same computer. So I cannot use the manual link from the router or any other on-line assistance. I don't want to remove my present router yet since the MicroTik gives to many trouble before I even get started.
What I do miss for this router (RB2011) is a download-able manual in PDF where everything is explained. That would allow me to set up the router before I put in place of existing one. It even looks unlogical to me to sell a router without off-line accessible manual, since the first thing you need when the router config is messed up is an off-line PDF.
The first unclear item to this router is even the reset button to return to factory settings: how to use? Press before power on (is there a need to hold for certain time?), press after booting? How long?
