I have rb2011 with ros 5.25, new bootloader and sometimes randomly freeze som ethernet ports, only reboot helps...
I heard from other ISPs that this is problem of rb2011 and drivers, when ports change to bridge chip...

Do you plan to repair it? on ros v5 or just on v6?

I have the exact same issue, my less than 60 day old 2011L-RM repeatedly would loose network access and would have to be rebooted 20 times a day, the device was still powered on and I could access through winbox, which I thought was odd, but any traffic that was to be routed through failed. I setup the device to do a supout but unfortunately it never did no matter what I had tried.

I took a RB951G-2HnD, as that's all we had for a replacement at the time, and imported the export from the RM and it worked flawlessly for 3 days, so that eliminated human error on settings. We then took the RM and did a series of test downgrading firmware, upgrading ROS, net-installing different ROS versions down to 5.17 to see if the issues would appear solved, and of course, to my dismay, the issue remained.

Ive always hesitated on using the latest version of anything as it normally has a whole set of new problems, but I was desperate and didn't want to RMA our brand new device, so i tried ROS 6.0. Now it seems to have the issue resolved, whatever it may be. I just hope 6.0 is stable enough to deploy as a PPPoE Concentrator.

Been running 3 days now on ROS 6.0 and no hiccups, knock on wood!

I've seen it occasionally on RB433AH and RB600A, but luckily it is not that frequent.
If you box is having it often then send in a supout.rif file and or go for a RMA.

Well looks like im going to have to go the RMA route. Although 6.0 seems to have fixed the issue, pppoe is broken and does not add correct mangle rules upon user sign in. Darn it!!!

Any suggestions on what i should replace the 2011L with? This is our second 2011 and both seem to have had their own separate issues.

Any suggestion of an alternative solution shall be directed by your desired functionality. If you RMA it then you'll likely get the same type of device. Try that out, maybe it will work for you.

it does not help. I have hundreds of 2011 devices, and about random 10 of them freeze ports (usually port with most traffic) every week. Because in my case WAN or upstream port are affected, then ping watchdog helps. This issue has been for long time, but MT do not care or are too busy with mending 6.x.

Another hundreds I have RB450G's, and they never have such problem.

I have a 2011UAS and have been having the same issue since v5. I upgraded to v6.0, ehich seemed to sort out the rebooting issue. Have just upgraded to 6.1 a few days back and the issue has returned, router reboots intermittently a few times an hour, WTF Mikrotik???????????

Yeh - more concerned about the after sales support, which seems to be non existant!! May have to go the same way WRT buying their kit for further installations!!
