Hello ol... I m a new bee in Mikrotik dont know much about how to configure it. i need Your kind help Regard DMZ .
i have a File Shareing Server in which i shared big Video Files. that can be accessed by \\Server
i want to limit the bandwidth of these users. so that nobody cannot copy the files more then 500 Kbps. Here is a diagram Kindly Guide me the complete script who to configure the Mikrotik to perform such task.

i have tried a lot but failed.

File server Ip - 192.168.100.2
gateway - 192.168.100.1

in Miktrotik i just Add ip address
Eithernet 1 - 192.168.0.1/24
FTP eithernet- 192.168.100.1/24

i have no idea about Mangle and NAT and Firewall rules to perform such task.

kingly tell me what rules i have to add to access server via \\server cammand on client side?

but i m getting a problem

before adding mikrotik router. i was able to open file shareing with \\Server

but after adding it i am unable to open \\server. now i can access file sharing via \\192.168.2.2 ip address

is there any way to open server again with DNS instead of ip address?

No Help Yet... IS there Anyone? who can resolv my isue?

i have configured it. with 192.168.250.2 ip LAN address. and 192.168.100.5 FTP eithernet address and i can open server by \\192.168.100.1 easily.
on the same network i have already hotspot which have DHCP enabled and ip address are 192.168.200.1

When i add FTP mikrotik server with another series then it works fine. but when i change ip address as hotspot servers. then server fails to open

/ip firewall nat
add action=masquerade chain=srcnat disabled=no src-address=192.168.250.1

/ip address
add address=192.168.100.1/24 disabled=no interface=Server network=192.168.100.0
add address=192.168.250.1/24 disabled=no interface=Client network=192.168.250.0

i have made static but its not working still

well kindly discuss on this isue....

i m using Hotspot server. and add an NIC and attached my ftp server with this nic. and also i create mangle and quee rules to exempt rate limit of ftp trafic from hotspot limit.
im successfull in above case.


but now im faceing a problem. i can connect only one session at a time.

mean to say. from a client-1 pc i open \\ server and if i m coping a file from ftp server behind Mikrotik then on the same time i open \\server from another client-2 pc then it breaks prevoius session and file copying gives error "there is a problem accessing \\server"

how can i troubleshot it????
