Hi Guys got a question.
I have a remote site 192.168.8.5 which is a 750gl this is connected to a warboard running star v3 ether-192.168.8.1/24 wlan-192.168.0.2/24 which is a wireles link to another war running staros v3 wlan-192.168.0.1 with an ether-10.15.20.5 which is finally connected to a rb1100ah x2 @10.15.20.1 the only nats that exist is at the client side 192.168.8.5 and at the 1100ah x2 which nats from 10.15.20.1/24 to my publics I need to deliver a public to the client @ 192.168.8.5 I was hoping I could use an eoip tunnel from the client oto the core and then a 1:1 nat on the core. I set up the eoip tunnel

I put an address 10.15.20.40 on the client router and added the interfaces to a bridge on the core but I cant get it to work I can't winbox to 10.15.20.40
If any advice can be give I would be most grateful

I'd start by taking the EoIP tunnel out of the bridge.
Next, from what I recall in regards to EoIP tunnels, first you have to use a mac address that does not belong to the interface, this range has been designated as non-public MAC addresses suitable for private use; 00:00:5E:80:xx:xx I don't remember how 'high' the range goes but I know the last two xx:xx can be used. So give your EoIP tunnel a MAC address in the range I specified and an IP of your choosing.
Next, once the tunnel is connected, try pinging the interfaces using the EoIP IP addresses. Then by the other IP addresses you have for the two Mikrotiks.
I don't think you are going to need to put the EoIP tunnels in a bridge to use them, you'll need to check to make sure.
I also don't think you should use proxy-arp. Experiment w/that setting to make sure. The manual is 'always' right - its the way we read it that makes it wrong. :)
I use EoIP tunnels on all my bonded routers, I just don't have a need to do what you're doing so some of the details are a little sketchy.
