Dual WAN Configuration

Thu Jul 18, 2013 6:19 pm

I just got my first RouterOS hardware (rb2011uas-2hnd) and been trying to configure it.
The device seems incredibly powerful, but I need some assistance on setting up dual WAN.

I have two DHCP assigned cable internet connections.
I have connected the first (primary one) to ETH1 and internet is working. It is set as a "default route" with distance 1.
I have also reconfigured ETH2 to be the second connection and added a DHCP client and removed that port from the default bridge and I'm able to get an IP. It is not set as a default route. But both connections are working.

However, I'd like to be able to route IAX2 UDP traffic only, port 4569 (VoIP) through my 2nd connection as I use it solely for VoIP.
I have tried to use add a new route with the routing mark called "voip" and created a mangle rule that marks all udp port 4569 with the routing mark voip.

I'm not having success though, as my IAX2 connection is still using my primary line.

Thanks for any assistance.

Hi ,

just Mark your connection in ip/firewall/mangle , like your port 4569 or what ever ....
then go to ip/route add a default route 0.0.0.0/0 by selecting your route mark connection ,

That's all
