We have had a few RB1100's quit working lately. The power supply tests good but they will not power on. I have noticed that components Q1102 and Q1101 appear to have been damaged. One is an IC chip and the other is a transistor and both have parts of their tops missing. This type of damage might be due to some type of power spike, but I am not sure. Does anybody know what these components do? If I can trace out where they go I might be able to come up with some means of better protection. Could they go to the power supply, or to the PoE connector, just not sure. Are there schematics available for this board? Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
