smartbridge cannot associate with mt ap after 2.9.8

I am in the process of converting all of my old smartbridges Access points over to MT based access points using Super range radios. All is well, getting great throughput on the access points and mt clients. However, I have a lot of smartbridges clients deployed and it seems that they will only associate with version 2.9.8 or earlier versions of the mt software. The only error I get from the smartbridges is about check WEP settings. The mikrotik ap doesn't flag any error whatsoever. If I sniff the wireless link, I can see traffic from the smartbridge client, but in terms of associating, it appears to completely ignore it. If I try this with 2.9.8 it associates immediately. I have also tried with 2.9.7 and it also works flawlessly. I'd like to be able to continue to use newer versions of Mikrotik as they become available. Has anyone else seen this issue?

In lieu of a solution, does anyone have the complete 2.9.8 software available? If I have to, I'll just downgrade the effected access points until I can find another solution.

Thanks

Craig Russell

I should add that for the purposes of testing currently, I have no wireless security enabled on the mt access points, so the WEP setting error message on the smartbridges clients is misleading.

Thanks

Please try with 2.9.18 and then make a supout file while the SB is trying to associate and send that to support@mikrotik.com

I would be interested to know the result of this? I am planning an upgrade that has users of airbridge cpe too.

Spiretz if you are still reading this thread, we did get this working with the latest version of MT (currently using 2.9.24 on the AP side). So far it has been stable.
