I see no manual about what available options can be configured when sending email form the router. The obvious - server, from, to, subject, body.

What if I need to use "smtp auth" to send mail to the mail server? Especially if you cannot use a static IP on the router WAN interface and therefore cannot be authenticated via IP address?

I see no detailed documentation on the "e-mail" command. Please advise where I might find out more and if smtp auth can be supported.

What you see is what you get right now. SMTP AUTH would be an excellent addition. For now you need to have it relay thru a server that trusts it. for us, we use the smtp server that the receipient is on, that way its accepted without authentication... since there are only alerts and stuff being sent to ourselves this is not an issue.

FYI: MT says that it is on the "list" of things to add some day.. When? They will not say. Also, I asked if the "list" was available for non-MT emplyees to see, and as I kind of expected, it is not. :)
