RB112 - no PPP menu? (and other questions)

Just got a couple rb112s w/ L4 from wisp-router...

We use pppoe here with good results on our APs. I'd like to use the RB112 for tiny POPs where a higher performance board simply wouldn't make sense.

Checked winbox - no PPP submenu.

Checked telnet console - no PPP submenu.

Considered upgrading the firmware but didn't find any special listings for the 111/112 - is it the RB500 firmware?

Thanks!

Just had to enable the ppp package...

It appears the RB500 flash works. Running 2.9.19 now (shipped with 2.9.17)

You better keep a close eye on memory usage. I bet those packages were disabled by default because you're trying to run in only 16Meg of memory instead of the larger memory available on the RB532's.

Yeah. I'm showing 3300KB free, and the documentation says:
Hardware usage: PPPoE server may require additional RAM (uses approx. 9KiB (plus extra 10KiB for packet queue, if data rate limitation is used) for each connection) and CPU power. Maximum of 65535 connections is supported.
That calculates up to 165 sessions. I expect to hang no more than 10-30 connections off of these before an upgrade is done at that POP.
