RB951 as a Wireless Client authentication methods supported

Wed Oct 16, 2013 2:04 pm

Hi there,

I am trying to setup RB951-2n as a wireless client that will connect to my exiting WLAN network, but my network is currently running WAP2-AES and using EAP-PEAP to authenticate users.
I can't find where I can setup the device as a wireless client using this type of authentication, am I rght in assuming it cant be done. It looks like EAP-TLS is the only EAP supported method.

Cheers
Andrew

Yes, in the security profile, click on RADIUS.

I had a look at that, but the Mikrotik is being used as the Radius server, in my case the Radius server is an external box, so the Mikrotik will only be used as EAP-PEAP supplicant (client), in most clients you dont specify the radius server credentails at all, so I think the post you mentioned is not mirroring what I want to achieve.
Thanks for checking it out though
