Hey all:
So, I was thinking that there are two things that I would like to see on the "scan" section of Dude. One is the ability for it to auto-discover SIP and IAX2 devices. We are starting to get lots of SIP/IAX2 device on our network, and it would be great to know when/where/how long those devices have been up. Also, it means that as we roll out more of the dual-mode phones, it will be good to know when the phone is on the network.
Also, there are lots of things in Dude that are very cool. The issue that I have is figuring out how to get them to work. I think it would be pretty cool/good to have some small flash demo's that show how to do/make use of the basic and more advanced features of Dude. As a community we could come up with a list and then have one person that know how to do each action make the "flashlet" that would then be compiled into one "help" flash. I personally don't know flash well, but I am guessing that someone on forum does and could explain the process easily enough. If flash is the wrong model, then what ever we choose to use. The point is that we would then have a lib. of how-tos.
Thoughts?
