A little help to understand SIXpack

Tue Nov 05, 2013 11:31 pm

A little help to understand SIXpack: http://routerboard.com/RBSXTKit
From the link:
SXT-5HPnD is a low cost, high speed 5GHz wireless device. It has a dual chain antenna and supports 802.11n and Nv2 TDMA technology to achieve 200Mbit throughput speed! Complete with a ready to mount enclosure and built-in antenna, this is the perfect CPE!
Is there anyone there have 200 Mbit on SXT-5HPnD ?
Cheers
Jimmy

Your screenshot has SXT Lite 5, which is 10/100Mbit only. The SXT Kit includes the GIgabit SA model, which can provide more than 100Mbits to the connected SXT clients. The given number means that the AP can provide a total of 200Mbit to the clients (not single client).

wireless to wireless you can get up to 250Mbit. It doesn't matter if the SXT Lite has 100Mbit port.

In addition to that, I already said that your 200-250Mbit throughput will be split to number of stations you will have.
