DHCP Relay not working?

Sun Nov 10, 2013 4:07 pm

HI there!

Running 5.26 on two watchguard boxes (x86) with two different cable connections using DHCP from provider. MY watchguard XTM520 is connected via cross-over cables to a separate port. I have the WG setup to grab DHCP. On the MTK boxes I attempted to setup DHCP relay I see requests coming in but nothing coming back from the provider.

I've got the address of the DHCP server from my provider defined in the relay. I do not want to use a bridge otherwise I lose functionality. I have two IPs per connection from my provider.

Any suggestions?

Thanks leon

Re: DHCP Relay not working?

let me expand on this since noone has picked up on this...

Two MTKs talking to two separate cable connections getting DHCP from provider. Have Wathcguard firewall connected to both MTKs via cross-over cables requesting DHCP. I've setup DHCP-Relay to push the DHCP request from the interfaces the Watchguard is connected to out to the cable company DHCP server. I have seen requests hitting the DHCP relay but nothing coming back.

ANy ideas?

Thanks
