I need a VPN solution to stop snooping at our traffic.

Hub, spoke design with hub1 in DC1 > VPN to hub2 in DC2 and some client device at end of spokes into hub1.

I have already used RB1000 elsewhere in network so know that Mikrotik good, but need good hub performance and have clients that can SSL VPN @ 30-50mbps using current routerboard hardware.

In the past I have used pppoe through adsl modem to Internet, with routerboard providing excellent results. Wireless access point on client optional.

I welcome suggestions and best guesses at number of clients supported by hub.

Would the RB1100AHx2 a alternative for you?
Combined with VLANs you would be able to manage your network fitting your needs I think.
