Mikrotik + Freeradius Issue + MSSql (Platypus)

We are attempting to migrate to the Platypus billing solution and are extremely close. We are having a random issue that we cannot figure out, hopefully someone can shed some light on what we are dealing with here.

90%+ of of the users are redirecting from Mikrotik to the Freeradius server which checks Platypus for MAC and Rate credentials perfectly, they come into the Mikrotik Host list with either an AH or AD and are then queued with their rate limit tag and authenticate with NO problems!!

However the other 10% give or take, do not authenticate. They come into the host list with just a "D" and will sit there and the user will just get the login page over and over. The only way that we have found to resolve the issue is to Knock them out of the host list, at this point 99% of the time they will come back in and then Authenticate.

I don't understand why this would be happening to certain users and we cannot figure out what those users have in common, as all of our users are setup the same.

Thanks for any help on this!

there should be an entry in the log along with a reason for the login failure on the web page

Did you ever get this working? I'm struggling to even get FreeRADIUS to authenticate against the MS SQL Server database.

When the user fails to authenticate, what is the error on the mikrotik log?
If mikrotik sends the credentials to the radius server, what is the error on the freeradius server?
