Of couse I have seen, but this wasted time should be purposed to improve main features of RouterOS (wireless, routing), but not colour-scheme. It's not a toy for a childrens.

Exactly ... on mikrotik webpage you can find only 6.7 and check for updates from router reports error - file not found...

ehm, we really customise outfit of the boxes placed to the customers.
our logo has white background, and even if i customise the LCD boot screen,
it does not affect the whole screen, i had black stripes over and under the company
logo. i hope this setting fixes it.

another aspect:
before the CRS it was crystal clear: dark boxes had dark colour schemes,
whereas the CCRs had white. and it was chosen automatically by routerOS.

then the CRS hit the surface in this all-white-bathroom-style colour, but with
dark LCD colour scheme by default. and unchangeable of course.
right now we have the possibility to fix this :-)

i don't think it was of any difficulties to fix this, as the colour schemes were there anyway.

read 6.8rc1 thread.

in short: some possible nv2 lockups/crash are fixed and also speed for the 802.11n might be more stable.

Normis, I do not see IGMP bug fix, and it exists since IGMP Proxy exists in MikroTik. I reported busg's a few years ago!

We did not see any change in the port isolation on CRS using version 6.8rc1, it was still spewing traffic on other ports.

ping pppoe stations still remain high, in versions prior to 6.6 ping stands at 1ms, the new 6.9 versions ping is unstable high ..

I was quite confused. Version 6.8 is not brought before the release, but there is version 6.9. Stated bug fixes do not work. What's going on here at all?

v6.8 was in development for 2 month, with big changes coming in PPP for all devices (especially for CCR) and IPSec HW acceleration for CCR and nv2 wireless stability improvements,
I imagine all attention was on those topics.

And when they were about to release (or released version for few hours) found serious bug with BIOS version on some mipsbe boards - if you do "/system routerboard upgrade" with that BIOS you will need to Netinstall the board, to get it back.

I was surprised that BIOS upgrade was such a common feature to find it so quickly...

Anyways, MT switched to v6.9 to avoid confusion and it should be released soon.

ping pppoe stations still remain high, in versions prior to 6.6 ping stands at 1ms, the new 6.9 versions ping is unstable high ..
try with some actual traffic on those tunnels, not just ping - what this link is running on? wireless?

The IGMP proxy bug is a real problem and it would be nice if you could fix them instead of making the lcd change colors.

Hi all, i can't to reach normal work of IGMP proxy for 2 or more devices.
It's always need to restart IGMP proxy for taking to join for 2 or more multicast group. In MFC i have some garbige.
For one device it working good.

To be fair it is very useful feature as the new setting allows for dark or light scheme. I doubt it took much development time at all
