Want to confirm are these two Mikrotik Device compatible with each other point to point SXT Lite 5 and Metal 5SHPn. Any compatibility issue by which performance drops or Pings fluctuates too much?


My requirement is low latency and stability for hosting Game server.

Metal 5SHPn = 1X1 mimo = less speed

you mean Metal 5SHPn combination with SXT Lite5 not a good solution for Point to Point and SXT Lite5 with Metal 5SHPn not optimized.

SXT means more speed because it use 2X2 chains
The metal used 1X 1 chains.
What is the distance between point a and b?

Point A (ISP Station where im going to install Metal 5SHPn) to B Distance 1 Km Clear Line of Sight.

I already purchased Metal 5SHPn for this and SXT Lite5 installed at my home Roof TOP. Metal 5SHPn need to install. can i expect best performance or i need to replace with SXT Lite5?

Right now ISP providing with there own Device no idea what device. See Ping fluctuations 5ms to 100ms with no load. 4Mbps port speed.

I think with two sxt's the performance match better, speed en stability

You must be a signal -60 dB maximum
Have you by SXT deselect chain 1 by wireless HT?
You should better performance with a both sites SXT because SXT works with 2X2 chains and metal 1X1 chain
Or a both sites a metal device (you must the same chains.
You must to have the same number of chains.
Otherwise you're with holes in your link.That explains the ping test

Do you know how to access my Station Metal 5SHPn from my home PC via winbox using its IP or MAC ID?

I see TTL=62 in ping output. It means that the ping goes thru more devices so it is not direct ping between the directly connected devices. Beware of that.

How do confirm my ISP that my device Roof TOP SXT Lite not connected directly to my Metal 5SHPn.

Overkill can result in bad performance.
The signal from the devices can disturb itselfs
