Hi. We need some help with CRS226-24G-2S+ switch.
We can not change the frequency of a cpu and the device seems to be performing very poor as the cpu load under 25mbit of trafic rises up to 40% whith all the firewall rules and conn.track disabled and cpu load being rarely below 15% while the device is completely idle.
We tried to change cpu frequency in dozens of ways, also tried to reset device's configuration. Nothing helped.

Upgrae BIOS with http://i.mt.lv/routerboard/files/ar9344_3.14.fwf and netinstall again with 6.13?

Are you sure we should use that firmware as unlike other crs this model seems to be using QCA8519-AC2C cpu according to specifications http://routerboard.com/CRS226-24G-2SplusIN.

It's ipossible to flash wrong bios if you put the file on winbox "file" and try on terminal "/system routerboard up"

You can damage the board only if the bios are programmed without control on Xmodem by serial port....

But about what you have wrote, it have different cpu???

It does indeed have a different cpu. I cant find any firmware for this cpu.
Netinstall didn't solve the issue either.

write to support@mikrotik.com and wait for 6.14

Is this a known bug or something?
We sent email to support 3 days ago, but still no answer.
Could it possibly be a hardware failure?

It's been a week since we contacted support. No answer.

For change CPU frequency, use serial port and set it on BIOS.
