WDS setup between MK and Tomato Router

Hello,

I have a set up where I have 1 Tomato Router and 1 DD-WRT router are connected via WDS using WAP AES encryption.

I want to add a MK router rb2011uas-2hnd, but no luck still.

The current setup is like this Tomato ----- WDS ----- DDWRT, I want the following:

rb2011uas-2hnd ----- WDS ---- Tomato ---- DD-WRT.

Therefore, the only set up that would be required is the one on the MK router and the Tomato router.

I've tried many setups but I can't get it to work.

Does someone out there have any experience in this kind of set up and could share his or her configuration?

Thanks,

Ricardo

What hardware are you running Tomato and DD-WRT on?

Your usual Linksys with Broadcom chips won't connect reliably over WDS to Atheros hardware. Sometimes it works, but it is a bit odd.

Hi Thanks for the reply.

The tomato does have a broadcom chip. Anyway you would suggest a test that this would be in fact the case. I just want to discard that it is just not a configuration issue.

Thanks!
