PoE ports unexpected hang on RB260GSP

Hi,
I bought some RB260GSP for my backbone towers and I installed on it to add some wireless PtP links without passing other ethernet cables. The devices are Mikrotik RB911/RB912 running RouterOS 6.15.
RB260GSP switches works as expected for a while but, after that, some PoE ports stop working and I get my links down.
They are running v1.12 firmware.
I also try to force PoE ports from "auto" to "on" and to set PoE priorities correctly, but it doesn't seem to solve the problem.
Can anybody help me to understand why?

have you used the included power adapter?
Maybe your 911 and 912 need more than 1 amp...
cheers

Sure. I used the included power supply.
It happens randomly, after a while I found magically some devices turned off and I have to restart them manually through the web interface.
Please, can anybody from the Mikrotik support team help me to solve this problem since I'm using this switches on my new backbone network?

I just used the power adapter included in the package by default.
When I wait a while, I find some PoE ports hung and I have to switch them to "off" and then to "on" to power them up again. I have 5 RB260GSP and the problem is present on all of them. (it seems that the port 2 hangs always, but I should test it for more time to say it exactly)
I also tried to upgrade the firmware to 1.13 but it didn't help.
Please Mikrotik team, help me to solve this problem because I'm using them on my backbone network.
Thanks in advance,
Alessandro

The only thing I could think of is, as I've said, the overall power and power per port that your switch needs to handle.
Also, the temperature. Have you checked if your switch gets hot?
Even if the specks say the switch puts out 1A / port, think that it can't put more than 2A overall. The power adapter is has 2.5A, reserve 0.5 for the switch and there you go...
I suggest you put a second switch and balance the load between the two or look for better POE options for your setup.
I don't believe is a hardware problem. Maybe a hardware limitation.
cheers

I can confirm this problem. I had few unexpected hangs and somehow they're always happening on port2 (on 3 different switches). Remote power-cycling via web makes it working again. I seriously doubt that it's related to power shortage, because I run power from 27V 6A PSU, using thick wires and I had hangs on switches that had only port2 and port3 connected (the load being RB912).. Current solution to this problem is not to use port2 for now, but I expect this issue to be addressed in future.
