Assign nesscessary static route for PPTP Client/SplitTunnel

Tue Jul 22, 2014 8:21 pm

Is it possible to assign static route to PPTP Client? Because, we also need to send printing to local network printer.

Currently, all routing was throw to remote gateway (0.0.0.0 to x.x.x.x remote gateway)

Can add we add particular routing on PPTP Client, For example
10.120.10.0 to x.x.x.x remote gateway
10.10.10.0 to x.x.x.x remote gateway
and for the rest we send to local gateway.

Please give me some guidance.

yes you can do it easily by some route command.
first step unchecked your Default Route from your PPTP Connection on your router then add default route for your Internet Access with your PPTP Connection and set Distance greater than 2 , and after create route for internet access you must create other route for your local network(with different subnet ) and set distance to 1 .
you can more explain your project for give better answer.

You can see Route Print as below, Bold text is default router to remote gateway that why user could not print to local network.
